Oeko tex Standard 100 is an eco-environmental certification system formulated by Oeko tex international environmental textile association in 1992, which implements toxic and hazardous substances testing and certification for various textiles and related products. Its main purpose is to test products for hazardous substances according to Oeko tex Standard 100, so as to ensure the health and harmlessness of products.
Oeko tex Standard 100 divides textiles and related products into four categories according to the principle that the more contact between textiles and skin (and the more sensitive the skin is), the higher requirements for human ecology of textiles
Product category defines baby products (category I) all articles, raw materials and accessories used by infants and children under 3 years old, Except for leather clothing, products that have direct contact with the skin (class II) most of the products that have direct contact with the skin when used according to regulations, products that have no direct contact with the skin (Class III) articles that have no or only a small part of the products that have surface contact with the skin when used according to regulations, decorative materials (class IV) all the products and accessories used for decoration
Scope of application:
① Textile and leather products and articles in production at all levels of products, including textile and non-textile accessories
② Mattress, feather and down, foam, interior decoration materials and other materials with similar properties
③ Chemicals, auxiliaries and dyes not applicable
